Hardwood Flooring, Made for Your Home
Solid hardwood is cut from a single piece of wood, which means it can be sanded and refinished several times over its life. That is why a well-kept hardwood floor can last through generations of families.
We help you choose the species, the width, the grade and the finish, then install it with the right acclimation, subfloor prep and nailing pattern so it looks great and stays flat.
Music City Floor brings hardwood flooring to homes and businesses in Nashville and across 21 Middle Tennessee cities.

Is hardwood a good choice in Nashville homes?
Yes, with the right care. Solid hardwood works well in living areas, halls and bedrooms above grade. It is not recommended for basements or wet rooms, where engineered hardwood, vinyl plank or tile are better choices.
How long does a hardwood floor last?
A well-installed, well-maintained solid hardwood floor can last for decades and can be sanded and refinished several times, which is one of the biggest advantages of solid wood.
Can I install hardwood over my existing floor?
It depends on what is under it. We inspect the subfloor and tell you what prep is needed. Often the old flooring comes out first so the new hardwood sits on a flat, solid base.
