About the Floor

Wood-Look Tile Flooring, Made for Your Home

Wood-look tile is porcelain printed and textured to look like wood, in planks that are often 6 to 8 inches wide and two to four feet long. It brings the warmth of wood to rooms where real wood is risky.

Because it is porcelain, it is water-resistant, scratch-resistant and works with radiant heat. We install it with thin grout lines so the planks read as wood.

Music City Floor brings wood-look tile flooring to homes and businesses in Nashville and across 21 Middle Tennessee cities.

Questions About Wood-Look Tile

Still have a question?

Call 615-357-7797

What is better, wood-look tile or luxury vinyl plank?

Both look like wood. Tile is harder, heat-proof and water-proof but feels cooler and harder underfoot. LVP is warmer and softer and faster to install. We show you both side by side.

Will wood-look tile look fake?

Today’s products have varied planks, realistic grain and low-contrast grout lines. Many are hard to tell from real wood. We bring samples so you can judge for yourself.

Is wood-look tile slippery?

Many have a textured finish with good traction. We confirm slip resistance for wet rooms and outdoor areas.
